Dr Tim Kusky inspects the Guanzhai Shan Resorts as an expert form the World Conservation Union

As an inspector from The World Natural Heritage (WNH), Dr. Tim Kusky conducted an investigation on Guanzhai Shan located in Liangcheng County of Fujian Province in Nov., 2007.  The area geographically locates between 116 45’14 -116 53’22, and 25 40’02 -25 46’12, covering an area of 102.6 square kilometers. There are seven main scenic spots within Guanzhai Shan, including Guanzhai Mountain, Zhu’an Stronghold, Yungxiao Rock, Shimen Lake, Jiulong Lake, Qishi Stronghold, and Xiaodi Woods.

Government officials from varies levels including Chunmei Lei, Mayor of Longyan City and Jialong Lin, First Deputy Chief of Liancheng County, etc. accompanied with Dr Kusky's inspection over the Guanzhai Shan resorts as a WNH nomination candidate for early-middle to mature stage Danxia landforms.
