The Center is currently equipped with more than 40 DELL workstations and HP computers, including a Remote Sensing and GIS laboratory with 20 DELL computers, GeoWALL3D graphics room with Summagraphics Summagrid III digitizing table, a digital color scanner, a large-format plotter and several work stations with large amounts of additional RAM. In addition to the computing, map-making, and remote sensing/GIS facilities, we have a differential GPS system (Leica GPS 900) structural petrology/image analysis system, centered on the digital Nikon Eclipse-600 polarizing photo microscopy, with the high-end Nikon Digital Eclipse camera system for ultra-high quality digital photomicroscopy.
